I was going to ask about that as I didn't see anything that looked like images from the factory.

Earl, I think they were, but maybe not the current owners? I think those photos came about when they were being sold. But the conditions would not surprise me.

The current and previous owners are still same.
They wanted to sell the rights, tooling, stock and goodwill for Mills, Taplin and AM engines but apparently there were no takers.

And yes even I was surprised today when the pictures were all gone

A genuine British "Green" Taplin Twin is on sale at the German Ebay.

Seller says it is a "Taifun" though....

Hi GH,
Mike Clanford's book says they (EGA engines) were made in East Germany.

Thanks for info, Brian......I wasn't aware of its existence....it looks well made.
It's just "my" kind of engine, though these days my "threshold" has grown somewhat high , so I think I pass on this one.....

Another little jewel from behind the "curtain", is the tiny Alag VT-11 (0.25 cc), which seems to be extremely rare.....it's even hard to find any info of it....

The little beauty was called "Tomboy" in West Germany, where it was sold by Klaus Krick. See the listing and comment by Peter Chinn in his 1964 Global Engine Review which was published in the 1964 American Modeler Annual. And the plot thickens with the Schlosser name appearing...
