I've become very comfortable with eBay. I always use Paypal and I stick with sellers over 99% positive reviews. But with that little bit of caution, I've had great luck with eBay sellers. If you search "2812" you'll see lots of sellers. Just check very carefully the specs, such as shaft diameter, KV, weight, etc. to make sure you're ordering exactly what you need.

There are some ESCs that have trouble with KVs over 2000 so double check the ESC you are planning on using. Look at the watts and KV on the motor

RC timer has these motors http://www.rctimer.com/index.php?gOo...0&productname=

Look for a motor that uses from about 160 to 210 watts and has a KV of 1450-1700.

We have been trying to update the shopping list with links for the motors on our web site. Our old site recommended a variety of motors in this range but we hadn't tried them all. Is this easier to work with? http://crashtesthobby.com/more/shopping-list

Brilliant! Love it.

Wonder if it would work without a solid-back chair? Crazy.

We have done it with a few simple PVC parts before but it was about 4 feet long not 18" long.

Hi All,
I have ordered an Assassin 34" from CTH last week and now in the process of ordering the stock parts from Hobby King.
As a newbie to fixed wing I have watched the build videos and was wondering why we need to use 3 servos?
There are two elevons which use two servos as far as I can see in the build video.Where does the third servo hook into?

Thanks.
AeroR
