Now you're just trying to hurt feelings!

I'm going to try to get a guy building one now to get the 370 motor and try it out. BTW, our rewinds at our club have hundreds of flights on them. A drop of scorpion oil before a day of flying is all we do.

Guys please! I'm using a 3536 1800kv motor(120g) with a 7x6 prop. Mine is pretty powerful! But since the people I combat with overpowered theirs, I had to overpower mine to keep up with them!

You should see the ones guy assassin! A 3530 1400kv motor with a 7x6 prop. On 4S!!!! You haven't seen a powerful assassin until you see his.

Wow those are some serious Assassins!

The 370 Zoom is only 42g and 2600kv. It drops right in, no CG changes. The only issue is the shaft isn't long enough for a prop saver, but with many flights using the included collet I've had no broken prop issues. It might not be the ultimate upgrade, but it's a awesome easy upgrade over stock. I'm very pleased.

No disrespect to your motor setup blu-
But, the rewinds have proven to be quite reliable when done with the high temp rated wire.
The radio shack rewinds not so much, I've burned several.

I've taken the challenge to burn out one of the rewinds and on my last outing I put nine1300mah batteries through the plane in rapid succession with no cool down period between battery changes. Still works fine.

I suspect we will need to get together to resolve this issue properly.
You have offended me greatly and all I want to do now is smack your plane out of the air.

hmmmm... I run a 3530 1700kv on a 7x6 on 3s... It's fast. Sounds like there is somebody else I will have to settle up with in person

You could probably get one of these on it:

Or one of these, but would need to drill to 1/8in

Bring it on! Our field rules are no guns, and a mandatory two drink minimum

Similar to our rules, yours sound a little strict

Fly your own plane.
If you bring food you are the club president.

I didn't say you couldn't bring a knife!

No swamps here, but our field has the best goose poop in the western US and the geese sometimes get an attitude when you buzz em to close.

Seriously, I think the rewinds are cool, but for guys without the skills, the 370 is a good choice.

Yeah, that's the setup I wanted to run. A 3530 1700kv, but hobbyking doesn't seem to sell a motor like that anymore. So I got a 3536 off a guy at my club, but I think it's a bit to heavy for the assassin. So I just bought a 2836 1800kv. We'll see how that motor works.

You can still get a 3530 1700kv from RC Timer. I've never ordered from them before but I know a few people that have.

This guy is basically a 3530 equivalent. I'm running it on a couple 'o planes and so far have been real pleased (not rated for 4s)

Yeah, I saw that hobbypartz motor but it was out of stock when I ordered the 2836 from hobbyking. So I'm going to see how the 2836 works out.
