Thanks, I'm looking forward to making another one. I think next time I'll send the assassin up with a point and shoot camera so the video can be recorded to a card. I lost a lot of quaility using the wireless camera.

Daylight Spending Time

Nick Thune has his own solution to Daylight Savings:

http://www.thejaylenoshow.com/nick-t...spending-time/

And I have mine.

It involves several different colors of these puppies:

https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8944

and it is BRIGHT for those evenings that start before I even get home from work...

Flew in the park tonight and at least 6 cars stopped to ask if I was controlling the thing and what it was. Perhaps Lee can make a Roswell design that is more saucer shaped... Wouldn't that be fun?

Thanks for the link Dave. Thats not a bad camera at all for only $23 bucks. At that price and that size we could send several of them up on different planes. Now that would make a cool video!

Same camera I've been using for several months now, and I like:

uncivil war Oct 10, 2009 (3 min 36 sec)

Assassin Lunch Cam (6 min 36 sec)

Assassin Cockpit Cam (6 min 13 sec)

Also, those kites look entertaining, but the shear power and agility of the Assassin is much more fun at night, when lit up with 3 meters of LED lights! Every time I fly, someone stops to ask me where to buy one...

Here is the maiden of my scratch built Assasin..

Assassin Combat Wing (1 min 37 sec)

This is one amazing wing! Thanks!!

Great videos!

Awesome job on the video! Don't you get dizzy flying around yourself like that? Maybe I'll start saving up for a ticket to Norway to visit my ancestors and fly with you!

I have had several questions about the laminate.

Yes, it is still included in the kits.
Yes, it is easier to put on than the other iron on coverings I have tried,
No, it does not come in any colors but colored packing tape and holographic tape add some variety.
Yes, the planes fly better with a laminate covering
Yes, we are putting the extreme tape under the laminate.
Yes the laminate appears to be offering some UV protection to the Scotch Extreme Tape.

We have had several people comment on how they like the finless design for a carry along plane on family trips. The plane can be stuffed between suitcases for those long holiday trips without having to worry about tearing parts off the plane.

Stop feeding it dog food.

Seriously, make sure your CG is correct, and try to not have any angle on the motor (up or down). Those about the only thing I've seen cause this.

There might be slop in the servo horns or on the servos themselves. Motor angle shouldn't cause too much movement, it will just throw off trim.
