12V Power supplies 42A $50 and 12/24V 47A power supplys for your chargers

I have 2 kinds of supplies to power your chargers wherever you have access to 120V. They are pulled from file servers and so they provide a well regulated supply suitable for any charger that needs 12VDC. They will not burn up if overloaded but will just shut down. Just disconnect everything and wait about a minute and reconnect.

The first will provide 12V up to 42A. I have used one of these every week at the field for about a year. I can power two Astro 109's and 2 Triton II's.

I have found I can also use one to power my Hyperion Duo and charge two 6S 5000 packs at once at 5A on each pack.

All this supply needs is a PC power cord and for you to solder/clip/etc your charger onto it.
I am selling these for $50 shipped in the CONUS.

The second is about the size of the first and will put out 47Amps. It also needs a PC power cord plugged in to it.
I am selling these for $50 shipped in the CONUS.

You can order here:
http://www.feathermerchantrc.com/
The wires soldered to the supplies as shown on the website are not included.
I also have plugnplay 24V 47A power supplys with output wiring for big chargers.
PM me if you want any special work. I can supply a power cord for $3 each.
There is an email which is also my PayPal on the website.

Hey James,

I'm loving the 46 amp supply I got from ya. I tried to shut it down the other day, by running two Hyeprion 610iNet chargers, and two Astro 109s all charging 6S 5000 mah packs at the same time... that little puppy didn't even blink!!!

Awesome power!! Thanks again!!

Sure Randy. Just use the email address on the website and Paypal me $40. Make sure to include your mailing address. That's a specail price just for you. Be sure to tape it like I did in the pictures. It helps prevent shorts.

Randy -- Remember to install tape like in the pics on my website. It prevenst surprise flashes. Also you cannot see but the power cord passes thru the plastic Molex connector and the wires are soldered inside. I cut 4 cells out of the 'eggcrate' to make room for the wire. Then I use a tiewrap inside the connector as a strain relief.

It's been asked again so to figure out about how many amps you need from 12 Volt power supplies to run your chargers:
For each battery, take the number of cells X 4.2 X the charge rate in Amps divided by 10. Add the results for all batteries you can charge at once together.
Example:
6S 5,000 pack charged at 1C

6 X 4.2 X5 / 10 = 12.6 Amps

The Hyperion duo has 2 outputs and uses 26 Amps to charge 2 of these packs at once.
If you need more than one power supply, I can ship more than one in a box and so you can save some money. PM me and I can give you a total.

Sold some stuff so I could afford the upgrade. Sent you $50 for a 42A PSU a couple of days ago, just in case you needed any confirmation from here.

Thanks James!

Sweet. Just thought I'd let you know it was me, since my Paypal doesn't have any info that would make it obvious who it was here on the forums.

Thanks again. I'd imagine it'll get here tomorrow.
