Well, here are the results...
If flies straight... hahaha. Little too heavy and a bit underpowered so, I'm going to build another one that is a minature of the miniture version when I can find the time. I have been thinking of some ideas that will reduce the weight even more and going to put a different size battery and a different type of core foam. I'll let 'yall know how things go shortly.

I have to say, the wing build-up and the design is a really good one. I just need to get the weight down a bit and I know this will fly great...!!!

Congrats on the successful maiden!

I think that makes you the current record holder for the smallest Divinity. What was the wingspan on that guy?

I can't work on stuff that small. It makes me crazy to even try.

I have lightened my wing by 300g so far by removing the paper ! I sure wish I'd have known to remove the paper BEFORE you put it together !

We are up to 509g now. Most of plane paper is gone...

Hey Jack...
The wingspan is 16" @AUW of 20.5g so, I'm doing the figuring on a 12" and see what happens... hahaha. I bet this one will be a wild ride. I think I can beat that record by a BIG margin. My radio with battery (the 90mAH) is right at 6.8g. So, I think I should be able to keep it around the 13g to 15g AUW.
Hmmmm... this is a fun venture. We'll see if it goes nuts with torque roll... hahaha.

I got all the paper off by taking the wing apart. I IS worth it. It weighed 509g with the paper on. Now its 123g with the paper off. What is in paper that's so heavy ? I also realize the hot gun glue weighs a lot. I do have gorilla glue. Is that better ? It is gorilla super glue impact tough formula. Is this the right stuff ?
BTW this is a 60" wingspan wing. Is the weight about right now ?

I didn't weigh the foam Board before I peeled it but after peeling a 20" x 30" sheet weighed 71 grams or 17.04 grams/square foot. That foam is 4mm/.157" thick.

For comparison, Dow PB III FFF weighs 19.75 grams/square foot with the plastic coating still on it. And is usually 5.6-6mm/.220-.235" in thickness.

The foam board seems to recover completely from soaking with water. If I buy any more of that I'll leave it out in the rain for a day or two, that would be a lot easier then stripping it. Even with the help of the Awesome cleaner it was less fun than I usually like to have. :>)

So how did this turn out? I'm needing a diy fpv airframe pretty soon, and this looks pretty good.

I'm surprised he didn't post the plans already.

I talked to ApachePilot this morning, he is going to get some info to me so that I can start getting some plans together for the Divinity II. It might not take too long.

Think of the Divinityh II as a 48" Divinity 42. But with two KFm strips and steps on both the top and bottom of the wing.
