1:10 EPP Hawker Typhoon for FWSC

Target
As the gathering process is just in progress, we decided to do the
planes definition per entry - every competitant will join with his
own plane for built of the WII aera.

CAD Basics And Preparance


For to get a rather good base to setup the construction I imported the
blueprints projections into CAD and scaled them up to a normed size

CAD Creating Basic Skeleton


Spacers and rips are now copied using SPLINES ( polynomes of higher order)
and arranged to a first raw skeleton

CAD Inter-/ Extrapolation Additional Informations


As the informations content in the blueprints is rather low for a -not structure identical- built I had to interpolate some additional information ...
the "mill" is intersected with the spacers arrangement and so gives a cloud of additional points for stringer allocation.

CAD Wings and Raw Mesh


Ok, I meshed the skeleton and lofted a pair of wings for the raw surface model... That is all for today!!

CAD - Discretization for Hot Wire Cut


Next step was to separate the spherical curves into straight elements - to be hot wire cut!!

Alright Harpye, your on! I'm already learning, looks like I'm gonna do a Typhoon as well, but mine is gonna be a bubble top version. Should I start a new thread?
