Just a bit of a warning note folks, as a few of you might have already read, I'm currently a tad incapacitated with work, so orders will be a bit slower shipping out for the next 7 days.

Sincerely sorry about this, alas these feeble human bodies are troublesome now and then.

Paul.

Tony,

I can split the order if you like, that way you get the non-lipo bits sooner?

Paul, that would be most excellent. Perhaps you can send the battery when the BD short kits turn up.

Good idea, need to check on that order actually, make sure I've finished/put-it-through. Everything is a bit of a mess right now after ~6 weeks of chaos.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the welcome back. Will be shaky legs for a couple of weeks yet but it's good to now have the returned strength to get out and fill up my day again with activities, rather than lying in bed bored to tears.

Hi everyone,

Just another "update", letting you all know I've alive etc.

Things are getting better daily here, I'm almost completely back to normal once more and the backlog of orders is shrinking quite a bit.

There's a lot of stuff arriving as well these days, probably fueling my recovery (it's like Christmas every day ).

* Mountain Models order should arrive tomorrow or Friday
* Stevens Aero order should arrive next Monday (that'll be a really nice Christmas package )
* Lots of electronics parts arriving to restock my assembly line (microcontrollers, buzzers, lots and lots and LOTS of parts.... really drains the cash supply though).

In the near future I'll be making more wiring-loom orders, so things like the 300mm, 600mm extension leads will be back (I'll pick up 24 AWG units this time as well).

I've also been fitting in more flying, alas I also had a crash on Sunday with my EZ-Sport, very gusty weather and I just didn't land with enough speed, subsequently I broke the wing, hopefully I can fix it with some good ole PVA and a couple of embedded skewers.

Paul.

Mountain Models stock arrived today - including LuckyAce and EB2 kits.

I got to keep the Tyro150 for myself

Not sure when the StevensAero shipment will arrive but it shouldn't be too far away.

Hi Paul, just a quick question about the BAC-mini that arrived in the post today. Is there a pdf or something with info on what the number of blinks from the LEDs means?

Thanks mate, hope things are well at your place.

Hi there,

Once the initial blinks have passed (3 green, 1 red), you'll see it gets into a bit of a routine, the blink out patter is as follows;

slow-blinks are the volts, faster-blinks are the 10ths of a volt, so, if your pack is 7.5V, then the BAC will blink out 7-slow + 5-fast and then repeat.

Once the pack drops below about 7.4V the red LED will also blink too to indicate "low voltage".

Regards,
Paul.

Thanks Paul, that's very cool. I have recently repaired my quick flick II, and have purchased an alula clone that is waiting to be built. Can't wait to try this out!
