I'd love details on motors/escs/batteries, etc.

And the B29? They're using two radios. Throttles on one and control surfaces on the other?

Yeah, but the qualifier of scale and electric and it's predicted to be between 90 and 110 lbs.

I still think that electric is missing something . . . . . the NOISE ! It just isn't RIGHT to see that much plane swishing through the air and not making any NOISE !

You should hear some of the competition 2 meter Pattern Aerobatic electrics... They turn the prop so fast they have to worry about the noise limit.

I know what you mean! We have some electrics out at our field that are noisier than the "slimers" ! And one guy has a nitro with a .60 engine on it, that you can hardly hear. I have no idea what he is using for a muffler, but the results are uncanny !

And no, I don't believe the engine is a 4 stroke.

Laggard, details I have from Tony's site ....

When complete this will be one of the largest electric models in the world, span almost 19 feet (5.5m) and weighing in at over 80lbs (40kg). Motor power is provided courtesy of four ‘4-Max’ PPPO-6367-230 out runner motors, each capable of developing 3kW of power and total motive power of 12kW. Battery power is provide by Nimh cells (96 in total) be could be increased to 144…..(36 cells per motor) if required.
