Moved here almost a year ago and at Xmas went looking for search for places to fly DLG and smaller electrics. Found this place, looks like large public area, there's a walking track around it but when I've been there its very seldom used. Just the occasional dog walker. In summer the grass was short enough you could fly most wheeled models off it. You have to climb or squeeze through a 2 rail fence to get there when parking under the tree, no big deal though.

I've found so many places to fly, usually end driving hrs on end to find some place.

Usually belmont raceway by graham farmer fwy is great but lately it's been full of cars!

I'd imagine that you would catch some pretty good lift from all the rising air being heated by that giant slab of a car-park

A few sometimes fly on Sundays but not sure if anyone's going tomorrow.

I'm away for a couple of weeks so no flying for me

Good idea Jeff.

But how about 'South of the River' so we take in the other flying we do at Nicholson Rd etc?
