Something about those PA planes Jeff heh?

They just seem to love to crash!

The Shocks repaired already. Just got to wait for a new spar (again).

Must say I saw some $$$$ crashes up at Yokine today too.

One of those extra big foam Sabres lost a wing mid flight and then a real nice Spitfire tip stalled to death. Ashame on both accounts.

Jeff did you end up buying yourself an 'Extra' replacement?

NO..Didn't get the chance on thursday,an Saturday ended up just window shopping for my fix instead.
Bought some Proflim and an sealing iron, and a few nick nack's for my 58'' gasser.
And have spent all day recovering the gasser..not a bad job if i say so myself:-)

Got a 50th (not mine ) on Friday night but might be able to front up for a fly on Saturday morning.

Working Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

But Piers you got that Helo finished yet?

And did it come with the connectors for the servo arms?

I've just got to put the motor and servos in mine then its pretty much finished.

I saw one flying at Yokine last weekend. Looked good.

Yeahh.. I did... The speed was great. I really like the configuration of my spit... Might bring it down during our next gathering in Murdoch... I flown it 6 times now... no drama... but my battery seems to be running down pretty quick.. Like 2450 MAH in 6 Minutes...

The only incident that happen is the plan run out of battery when I was using my 2200MAH at around 6 minutes. The aircraft glide in gently and land...

I would prefer Sunday arvo. Too many things to do on Sat. What time chaps?

Goody, motor for 450 came yesterday, just got back from up north today so I will be installing over the weekend. Just waiting for speedie to show plus training gear, then away she goes! The servo ball links were in the pack. How'd you go with the softish screws ?

Hopefully might get to finish work on time

So far so good with those helo screws but I haven't actually tried to tighten them to tight. Will have to give it a once over before its maiden. Might even get some locktite?
