Suscribed! Just ordered a SAPAC composite T45 v2 Goshawk and a Storm 70 mm EDF to power it. Will probably use a 4s 5000mAh lipo for juice. Will post photos of my build as soon as I start doing it.

Heres some pictures we took of the new fan unit that Esprit just got in, Please look at the bottom picture.

Of course I'm going to use a 5S setup so I went with the Castle Creations 125 so what I'm going to have to do is cut the wire down on the ESC one inch and the cut the wire down on motor by about one inch.

You have to be really carefull to keep the wires all the same length because it can alter the timing if you change it around too much.

After we get it done were going to have some awesome High-Def video on this plane before we go to Joe Nall, were also going to clock this thing
so we can get an exact speed out of it with this speed.

-Shall the building begin!!!!!!

How does the cooling work with the esc in there. Is there airflow over it?

Tail cone

Just FYI for those following this cool thread of Deans, the tail cone is not meant for the esc to go into. It is there strictly for cooling the integrated motor. Also, it is recommended that you tape the tail cone on.

Yeah, You might make the motor overheat if you stick that esc in there.
Whats up Shayne???
