Sbach 342 power system? 150grams

Hey im thinking about getting a Sbach 342 shock flyer and i was wondering on what kind of power system to use. The plane i think is about 150grams and i want to fly it 3d. The plane is at http://www.proundma.de/index.htm?fra...ShockFlyer.htm

Im thinking about using the power system that Dave Powers recommends for the extra 300. The one at Grason Hobbies. This will be a cheap plane that im fine on going Chinese.

P.S.
The plane is the red, white, and black one. The reason i want one is that i know the guy who builds these and fly's them. The real ones that is...

Since no one else has offered any advice, I will stick my neck out

- Try to build it at the lower weight of 130 grams or less.
Use this $10 motor:

This $10.40 ESC:
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...eed_Controller
and this $4.50 battery:
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...0C_Lipoly_Pack
8x4 GWS prop
Worst case you are out $25

(Only problem - they are out of stock on the ESC )

Hey thanks, sounds good. He actually said he'd give me everything but the radio but I'm not quite sure what that means. If it is actually everything, that would be awesome but...

I 100% agree on the battery and ESC. By all means get the Plush ESC and not the cheaper version. However I have had 2 of the 19 gram motors and haven't been very happy with them. The prop saver bolts have been changed out for long set screws which may be better. The hub seems to cause a misfit with some props on the 2 I have. The 19 gram motor is also a little less power than I like on my 140 plus gram foamies. I fly outdoors most all the time even with light indoor type planes and my use may be different from yours. I seem to be happier with the 24 gram blue wonder type motors Hobby City sells. The 1500 KV is my favorite. Keep in mind there is a slight weight penalty and the 1500 KV motor will pull a 9 3.8 GWS Slo fly prop which makes lots of low speed thrust. I 've been flying one on a Ikarus Super Star for 3 years so it seems to last!

Ya that sounds good. Depending on what "all but the radio..." means, ill go w that set up. Ill mostly be flying outside as well. Seems like these planes are pretty cheap...

Well i got the plane and its only its only the bare foam. Ill build it up and most likely get cheap chinese made junk. I have a cc thunderbird 9a esc. Would this be good to use?
