51'' scratch built lobster style cruiser ( have added a few more pics of my progress)


[FONT=Century Gothic][IMG][COLOR=Magenta][IMG][/IMG]hey all im back lol.time to build a cruiser!i dont no what il end up with but hear i go.my son gordon wonted to build one so i help him get started. a couple of years ago .but he has been in collage for 2 years and its just sitting there.keel and moles and batond of.so i tackeled it three weeks ago. this is how fare i have gotten.needed to do something .I QUIT SMOKEING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.THREE WEAKS AGO!... ...so any way guys lety me no whats hapnin.and if u r doing any building your self.

1st things 1st: Congratulations on being a non-smoker! Not only are you going to be healthier, live longer, and stink less, but you are going to save a few hundred dollars a month that used to literally go up in smoke! I'm an ex-smoker, going on 18 years now.

2nd, the boat looks awesome! I love the interior woodwork, as well as the rest of the boat!

congrats on quitting smoking. youll get more kisses from the misses. i am smoke free for 1yr 5 mos. love it. i smoked since i was 14 and i am going to be 41 on thursday. cant stand the smell of smoke either. i do lots of building. your boat looks great. whats the langth of this cruiser? looks really good so far. keep it up

hey thx for the suport guys on smokeing sofar so good! drakonis she is 51 inches long and a beem of 16 inches.

Hahaha yah I remember that day. Things got a little exciting when smoke came out from under the trunk cover. At least the rest of the boat didnt go up. it could have been worse.

BG, quitting the tobacco probably saved your life---.

I had a heart attack when I was 43, and underwent a quadruple heart bypass operation at 50, all thanks to the tobacco companies.

I'm 67 now, and amazed that I'm still above ground after all that---.

Nice build, but a bit large for my tastes---.
