Hawker Tempest Mk II


Hawker Tempest Mk II, wing span 46in., build from Ron Daniels kit, power with a Hacker A40-12S with 4S-3300 lipo. and 12X6 APC prop. Covering with solartex natural and clear dope, and mix color for camouflage paint. With this set-up be ready for a fast action. Have a nice flight Regards

Hello Jeanskydive, Nice pics! You have pics of the MKII but your post says MKV.Are you building a MKV Also?

Wonderful photos! I think these are the best flight photos of a Mk II that I've seen....


How old is this plane now?


What's the weight down to with the LiPO's etc?

Do you ever fly it with your friend's Mk V?

Very interesting gear mounts. Do you put the next larger size of brass box stock in the wing? And do you ever have the gear stick to the plane after take-off? Tex.

Yes larger size brass stock square in the wing block , some time i have to clean inside de brass stock with Q-tip. nerver get stock fall all time Regards Jean

After 1 2 years of flying,. first one from Ron I build in winter 2004, I did some damage to is cowling,. so with 1/2 in., balsa wood I made a new one , nex step wiil be 3/4 oz. fiberglassing and paintig, and ready for another mission!! This model fly so beautifull in worthy to made is new one. Cheers.

Simpley gravity fall foom is square tube mont into is maple wood, glue into is main wing spar. Cheers

Yes Sir, alluminium , also verry solid and easy to remove fronm cowl , only three screws . Cheers
