Last I knew, we had people in 7 countries working the program. Pretty cool.
Steve and Joe,

This is a great program, a program to increase participants flying skills at an exhilarated rate over just flogging around in the sky without a flight performance goal. Congratulations and thanks for your creativity, time and efforts in promoting our wonderful hobby. My motto is: If you haven't thermalled for one hour, your still a beginner. Congrats to all the participants.

So while we are here....

I have 3 tasks to document for my Copper. 2 fives and a 15. I have flight logs from altimeters for these. Is it sufficient for me to just print that out, right, and right the dates on the print out?

I have organized a group of soaring pilots and we have been flying for a few years now. We started having monthly soaring events/contests last year and continued that through this past summer. I think this next year I am going to start having some achievement days where we get together just to work on tasks. We have a few members pursuing that "other" program , and I am really going to push the SSP to the members this winter. Hopefully our members will come to enjoy the achievement days as much as the events.

Still working on completing my Copper level.

Is the SSP website working correctly?

I signed up on the website's program application form a week ago and have not received any acknowledgement of any kind. Since both of the founders have posted on Rcgroups since then, I'll assume they are not off on vacation or such.

I just thought I would check here to see if something malfunctioned?

I have to echo tlcglider's post. On October 27th I made my application and have seen nothing and received no form of confirmation by mail, email, or carrier pidgeon. Should I re-apply or...?

elac2az and Dion, PM me your info and I will get your forms on the way.
Ryan, I got your mail Friday. I will look it over with the magnifing glass after work but at a glance it looks like your going to get the next number.

Thanks. I'm a little embarrassed it took me as long as it has to complete the first level. I stared on it on in December of '09. I had most of the work done in 2010 and 2011.

Here's the deal guys. I know it takes some time to get paperwork done sometimes. It was easier for me to do it as I don't work. After finding out my wife had 2 forms of cancer, the doctors damn near killed her with the "preventative" medicine. Then my health started getting worse as well. I didn't know what to do with the program. Joe out of the kindness of his heart decided that even though he works massive hours at work he would keep it going. Add to that that neither one of us are website building gurus. We do our best. I should say Joe is doing his best, as my presents is sorely lacking due to family issues. So there it is in a nut shell. So if it takes a bit of time please be patient. Feel free to contact Joe or leave messages here but please be understanding. Thank you.

I guess I misunderstood. I was thinking I was going to get a email with a pdf form to print out myself. I see that is not what happened.

I am sorry I jumped the gun. I am also sorry for the difficulties you are having.
