The reason Apollo airfield was shut down last week

A turbo jet making a low pass veered off course and decapitated a flyer killing him instantly.

No, that is not true.

Did a turbo jet violate 400 foot ceiling limit?

The real reason was for presidential security. Obama visited LA last week and when Air Force One landed and took off, all air traffics around LA were diverted. That I knew from news. But I didn't expect that the restriction applied to a model airport also. A guy told me today.

They must think terrorists will use an unmanned, radio controlled aircraft to ram the presidential plane. This country has become neurotic.

Turbo jet flyers should not make extremely low passes. It is dangerous.
