Thanks Dave, now I really am going to have to start saving my pennies... A blue NXT would definitely be in my future... I have a H9 Sundowner that flies really nice, and has enough speed to be interesting. Its starting to feel slow since I am getting used to it, so the NXT will be the next step. I understand why you would stick with 6S systems, is there going to be a lower KV motor that will fit, but give us that kind of speed on 8-10S?

Hi David.
Will be a glider version on the new ZS (22 or 40 series) motors?

It would be great a front mounted/slimmer version for powering a 4 meter scale glider in our competitions (F5G). Great eficiency/power for climbing and sailing for ten minutes and spot landing.

Great line of products and technical support

Dave,
I notice you have the super chipmunk 10e at a good price, would the new ZS2213-18 be a good match for this bird?

Yes, we are now working on "long nose" versions of Zs22, Zs30, and "maybe" will release glider versions of 35mm or 40mm motors.

They will be called "Gs", and I expect you'll see them online in 10~12 weeks.

Should be awesome. We'll be testing special versions like 3025-4, which should be able to pull 200+ amps in limited run with excellent effciency.

Yes! The 2213-18 is perfect for the Chip and other 10e aerobatic models. If you use G3 lipo (suggest CX 25C 2100 or soon-released VX 1800 35C 3S), a 9x6 prop will turn 9500 rpm at about 19A fresh off the charger, and provide tremendous performance during the whole flight. (no bs! try it and see!)

Thanks Dave good to know, but I'm not sure I'll be purchasing the little Chipmunk now, I was going to buy it while waiting for the grey nurse to come back in stock at my local dealer, but he has just informed my that you wont be making any more of the spitfire in aussie strip. I'll have to save a few more dollars and buy the GN from you in Japan instead, hope you will still have one in stock in two weeks when I get paid. BTW what’s the best ZS motor for the spit?

Sure. The Zs3025-08 will fit any of the 25e Warbirds, with addtion of the backmount adapter and mount spacer set (M6).

The only exceptions are the upcoming P40 which needs the M8 adapter set, and the Spitfire, which front mounts and therefore needs no adapter.

See this sheet for full specs on dimensions, backmount adapters, and spacers.

Btw, the models which DON'T need the battery all the way forward (like bf109) may be able to "size down" for a lighter setup, going with Zs3020-10 rather than Zs3025-08 for example...
