That is perfect! Thank you.

PS I printed all your drawings out. They will go on the top of my planes to build pile meaning this will get built next :-) I just need to find build time, I've been busy lately.

I cut this out today and will be test flying it soon. Removing the paper by soaking it seems to leave a better finish on the foam.

How are you planning to stiffen up the bare foam sheet?

I used 2 12" bamboo skewers for the wing and will brace the fuse with some fishing line.

Now that is an interesting and cool airplane. Very reminiscent of the lifting body X planes of the 60s (which is what you probably intended?).
The low wing loading probably makes it a blast to fly!

Love it!

I wasn't going to post my build, as I suspect there may be some Flite Test fatigue ... but here is my FT-Spitfire. Straight up scratch build from their free plans with no mods. 820g AUW, 1000mm wingspan, Turnigy SK3 3530 KV1460, 9x4 APC, 2200mAh 30C 3S Lipo

I love the Flite Test site generally and their various foamboard designs (not all are swappables, though that was how I built my spit as I plan on several warbird airframes and the FT-3D)

Flyies very, very well. Mine was a slightly less than perfect build (my skills are not great) and it seems to have made little difference so it is a forgiving design. Not super aerobatic, nor supper fast, but very warbird-ish. Flys well inverted, though not fabulous. Rudder has good effect for coordinated turns and hammerheads, though in the hammerheads it isn't super responsive. blah, blah... sorry to go on, you can read the thread if interested ...

(Which I forgot to post, DOH!)

anyways I thought the color scheme might inspire some as it is a little different and I have found achieved my purpose very well, that is to be HIGH visibility.

Don't Panic

Does anyone have a copy of the plans for this one? It was a free planset in an overseas model magazine? I've been trying to find which one but the websites for them aren't very searchable.

The Spitfire looks good, but I'm actually trying to hunt up the delta called "Don't Panic".... looks like a good first try with the Dollar Tree foam board.
