guys, im LOVIN' my slayer! just about broken in. feel free to post any pics/mods/opinions here. ive enlarged the cooling hole in the window some, and made a foam shelf/diverter that channels the air right to the filter/cylinder head. ive yet to run it like this, but its removable in case i need to change it. should help keep most of the dirt away from the filter, and help keep the most cooling air going right to the motor. she should see her first race this weekend... trying to get the setup dialed in as well.

I have a pair of them....The white on is all stock at the moment,The black one has swaybars,3.2 rear springs,front has factory rear springs,17mm hex adapters,buggy wheels and on order a center diff and adjustabe brake kit.The last pics in this set are of the carnage that happened last time we were messing around with them...I hit the white one head on going wide open,for the black one I had to get a new chassis,bulkheads,bumpers,skid plates and front diff plus I need a new body....the white one only stripped the spur gear...enjoy.

ok since this is about slayer whats the difference between slash and slayer they both look the same

ones nitro and ones electric. I'm pretty sure that's the main difference. the slash is the electric one, the slayer the nitro one.

Ok that to. but with the slash 4x4 coming out the main differene is that ones nitro and two are electric.

Does it bother anyone that the Slayer doesnt have a reverse gear? I new at this and am thinking about buying one...but Im not sure what to think about this!?

you really don't need reverse on most cars. that and it's better on the gears without one when you hit the brakes.
