I fly, therefore, I crash!!!

Hi maverickma...

Then go with the Zs4025-14... but on 20c I still wouldn't expect "sparkling" performance.

When you get a chance, can you measure the diameter?

I buy from Maxx Products, so I will see if I can't get some of those in stock for you guys who want it, however they do sell direct as well: www.maxxprod.com

Looks to me like the 50mm.,by looking at the hole opening in the plastic radial engine piece. They make 4 sizes, the biggest one looks like it would fit 17'-18' props..Feather, did you have to do any grinding for a fit?

I'm using the MPI 50mm aluminum spinner on mine with optional 6mm collet but boy did I ever have to grind out the blade openings larger! Not Maxx's fault, just a small spinner with a large prop, but looks the right size I think.

I was thinking the 2.5" (63mm) to 3" (76mm) would be most scale. And in fact a caption on Feathermerchant's review says his is 2.75" which is right in between those two.

Feather, how did your prop fit with the spinner? Did you have to make the holes bigger at all?

Agree. Going back and looking at the first post pictures the spinner should be larger than 50mm. The nice thing about the Hyperion spinners is their nice large blade openings. I have never had to exlarge one of those.

OOPS! I measured the one on my 89" Slick. If it says 2.75" then that's what it is.

I could not find a spinner from Maxx Products larger than 50mm. on their Web site. I'll try Hyperion, sounds like they might fit without grinding. Any links would be appreciated!

I cannot see the maxxprod website here at work. I did go there and find the larger spinners a few days ago. They are not under the 'electric spinners' area though..
I did not have to open the prop holes at all.

Go to www.maxxprod.com

On the left had side, the second category after "Tricks and Tips" is "Aluminum Spinner". Click on that link and you will see them there.

I prefer the Extreme Flight spinners over the Hyperions as they have an aluminum backplate and they come in black. But the MPI Aluminum spinners look even better.

Well, a great bud of mine got me one of these beauties for my birthday... WOW, didn't expect that!!! The bad news is that UPS kicked it all the way to my house. UPS just picked up the damage plane yesterday and we'll see how long their refund process takes. However, from what I saw of the plane is AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL!!! Very classy with vintage character written all over it. What a sweet looking plane. Now I have to figure out if what I have on hand will work or if I need to go shopping for some new parts. Thanks Hyperion for such a looker...
