Poll

Would you buy a Micro Jet if it were available?

I think companies really need to see what sort of support they would receive if they started producing Micro jets for 30mm and 40mm EDF units.

Not the fan driven toy shop variety, but true micro, full control, ducted fan jets with some speed under them.

Assuming the price was fair so we can avoid that argument - please vote your choice of kit.

You don't have to be into it to vote. Just choose which one would appeal to you the most.

I'd really like to see every active member in this forum place a vote so we can show some good numbers and let the companies know what WE want and that it would be worth their while entering into this market area.

I voted BnF because that is all I see selling well in today's market. I'd love an indoor ducted fan model of a Vampire, MIG-15, ME-162, etc. If the flying speed was suitable for single court gym flying. I'd build one if a "purchasable" power setup were available.

I second Tim wolf, an F2 though the F22 would be nice to see also.
Thunderbirds F16 or blue angels F18 on 1.8 ghz would be a riot.

Yeah that would be kinda sweet, there's not anything in the market in this catergory.. Therefore I'm trying to design my own ^^
Must say that regarding speed it would be nice to have a wide envelope, due to the small size I bet people would want to fly it indoors.

I think if youre going to buy something 30 or 40mm you might as well get something a bit bigger. Im waiting for 20mm (or less), i think thats were its at.

Looks more like an F-20 Tigershark with two engines and dual rudder.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-20_Tigershark

Sweet looking lines, I must say...

Edit: According to Wiki, it is based on the F5E. F20 is based on the F-5 as well.

Anyway, back on topic, it would be cool to see a BNF F-104.
