Should Pot be legalized for recreational use?

Should the use pot be legalized for recreational use?
Just wonder what most think about it.

It not called weed for nothing.

It grows easily with little or no attention so there will not likely be much tax revenue from it like there is with tobacco or spirits.

I doubt that... people will be much more inclined to just buy a pack of Mj cigs than to go through the trouble of planting, growing, harvesting and drying it.

True...just like most people would rather pick booze up at the store instead of distilling it themselves...

I'm slow tonight...

It's a little different with pot as it really grows easily with little or no attention.

Wine, beer and spirits are not quite so easy because of all the sterilization needs in producing and bottleing for consistent quality.

Pot is a weed, plain and simple.
A hybrid and buds can be made to be very potent, but it's just a weed and can be grown as a house plant in pots.

So what? its is still a bigger hassle than just going to the store and grabbing a 5.00 pack..... that what most would do... of course some people will choose to grow their own but who cares.

The idea of locking someone up for having a completely unmodified natural plant is ridiculous.

It probably will be. You will be hard pressed to find a politician with the nads to back legalisation though.

George W would say no and stick with it I bet.

Obama.... I don't know what he would say about it.
I kind of think it would depend on the popular choice.

Maybe.

I will not report it. I think it desrves discussion. Is it family friendly? I don't know. I talk to my kids about drugs, always have since they were young and still do as adults/young adults.
