Did you check the last couple of pages, your retracts cant even stand their own weight., they snap on dry run. I lost $129, previous price when they came out, then 10 for shipping them back + 40 for repair as they didnt work and still they didnt work. So unless you guys are serious about your claims, please dont disappoint more people.
Also some of you guys dealers who sell the retracts like sonic electronics suck too.

here's a copy of their email about reply.
We are unable to provide you with a refund as the situation does not conform to our return policy. (

As stated in preivous email, we can repair the item by replacing the damaged parts for $36.00 plus $5.85 S/H. If you do not want us to repair the item, we will send the item back to you by mail without repair so that you can contact EDF directly to resolve the issue.

Please let us know how we can best assist you.

Look plain and simple, They NEED METAL GEARS period!!!! Just like the ecellent lado retracts use. Along with an aluminum of high quality external casing. They can do everything they want to these retracts, but until you fix your weakest link none of it will matter and all will be done in vane.

Are those parts retro compatable with the first generation of your retracts?

These look perfect for the gws-a4, J-10, and other jets around 2 , 3 lbs that are popular now.

This stuff is junk and the customer service is just as bad.
I really don't see how they can come back in here and pedal a new version when many of us still have the old junk.
Mine never worked out of the box after several emails with no answer i gave up.
Take care of your old garbage before you pedal upgrades..

I had two sets of EPF retracts and the plastic gears broke during testing not even during in-model use. Great concept, poorly constructed and obviously not rigorously tested. No one in the right minds would buy EPF retracts after that debacle.

You don't get it
There are people here who have bought your product and feel they got ripped off by your garbage retracts. I 'm sitting here with a pair that don't even have the strenght to lift themselves out of the box.
And now you want to come in here and try to rip others off.
Why don't you come on and tell folks who have bought your crappy gear you can return them for the new set. And for you to come on now and not address those issues shows you have no respect for your customers.
Until you take care of those who have supported your junk, i will continue to tell anyone who will listen your product and customer service sucks....
So go pedal your garbage somewhere else..

Are you guys complaining about the old retracts or the new ones?

Try reading the posts of this thread from top to bottom and I'm sure you'll work it out. Unbelievable.

But to save you time, the OLD ones.

I did read it, it just seemed so strange as they are announcing a new product so I had to make sure.

Those mounting tabs are too small and weak. There needs to be more material, just make it a mounting flange along the full length of the body like normal retracts.

I've not used mine, bought them and still in the box but I don't like the looks of them, thin mounting tabs will break I think if the gears don't first.
