And you're right — this Extra 300 is one lean, mean, tumbling machine!
Thanks Napo!!

u were right about the way that the extra tumbles! looks fun!
the extra is a fine looking plane! (i love the blue and yellow!)
and that was some of the best 3D flying ive ever seen!

i have the Greatplanes Reactor (the smaller one. ) and i just love the way that it tumbles!

great job Tim! I also appreciate the way you put it thru its paces..while I am a 3Dhobby addict I wouldnt hesitate to own one of these either.there are very few mfg's outside say 3D and extreme edge or maybe aeroworks that I feel are really good and finally it looks like GP has a great plane ..

Lenny,

When flying a "true" snap the wings of the plane are actually suppose to stall while simulatanously inducing yaw (rudder) input. The pitch break comment refers to the fact that that my GP Extra 300 SP does an excellent job of pitching up (showing the pitch break) just as I enter the snap.

This is something that IMAC/IAC judges are looking for when scoring a snap.

Thanks for the explanation. There is such a huge gap between sloppy bashing around and properly flown maneuvers.

Is it correct to assume that my 6s3000mah 30C heli batteries would probably work well in this plane with the same approximate setup?

Yeap. Should provide similiar if not slightly better performance than what I'm seeing on my 6s 3200mah setup.
