I've been able to take the dog for walks, up until New Year's Day. It wasn't always warm, but the TART Trail http://www.traversetrails.org/trails/tart/ is protected from the wind, where I usually walk.

I'll get back to building, soon, but I sure have enjoyed being able to spend my time outside, getting some exercise.

The 195 is resting comfortably in my trailer. All she needs is a balance, and she's done.

I tried to start the 50cc twin, last fall, but all it would do is "pop". It shouldn't be a major deal, to get it running.

I'll spend some time on it, after the snow is gone, and it warms up.

I'll pull her out of Winter storage soon. I want to take her to my club meeting, for Show and Tell.

It's snowing heavily, right now. I may have to wait a few weeks.

Hi Tom

First off, Very nice build.

I'm in the process of designing a 1/4 scale Helio Courier and it will come out at a similar weight and flight regime. Just looking to not reinvent the wheel, hence the questions.
What diameter and length is the wing tube, and is it carbon or aluminum?
What size wing spars are specified on the plan?

Thanks
Leif

Hi Leif

The wing tube is aluminum, at 48 inches in length. I'll measure the diameter for you, later.

I'll have to dig out my plans to find out the spar size.
