Yeah I did get the distinct impression that he should not have been flying that plane. I think when he pulled the landing gear up, something internal got clipped or the weight shifted and stressed the ailerons or flaps somehow. In the frame by frame, you can see the aileron come off. And, one of my buddies saw it wiggling on the ground. There's a reason I was filming that flight so closely, I had a feeling something would go wrong, but honestly I just thought he might dork the landing I had no expectation of what happened. But I was just making a joke - it's a fun video

Sorry. There's nothing to update.

The model is completed, just needing to be balanced. It is safely stored for the Winter.

In the Spring, I hope to get her balanced, and fire up the motor. After that, I hope to get her maidened.

When I dig the 195 out of Winter storage, I will post some pics of the model in it's completed state, with the engine installed, etc.

I will also report on the GrPro 50 twin. My first attempt to get it running, failed. I didn't dig into it, to find out why.

Perhaps we can all help you figure it out when we all come over for Christmas

Just kidding
Merry Xmas

Fred, By all means, come for Christmas. Besides getting my engine running, I can teach you how to operate a snow blower. LOL

Sounds like a lot of fun. It hasn't snowed here yet. I just can't wait until it does

Actually, we have just a dusting of snow. At last report, we are 27" below normal, for this time of year.

I don't mind, one bit !

I spread glue yesterday, Don. Is that good enough ?

I spent this afternoon clearing snow. What a treat !

I can't believe that you still have that pic. It must have been at least 10 years ago.
