Just started build on Troy built Pawnee for a tow plane. Hacker A-80-8 power on 10 cells. Castle edge hv 160 controller.

I finally flew the Flash that Midland Mike gave me and it hauls A$$!!! That 3turn Mega on 4 cells with a 4.5 x 4.1 prop really cooks! I seem to have quite a bit of flutter. I guess the next step is tape the end of the ailerons.

Here is the result after 1 layer of surface coat 1 layer of 3oz. satin cloth 2 layers of 8 0z cloth 1 layer of 20 oz cloth and 1layer of 6 oz cloth tape.

It looks pretty good!

This is my new Serenity 2.5 electric sailplane. My friend o1morgil made the graphic templates for the designs. then I painted the wings and removed the templates.

Well here is the next project. I purchased a Kamalot that has been repaired with glass on the outside of the fuse. The tail sections were not true. A shim was under the horizontal stab to fix the incidence problems. I ground off the cloth cut off the tail at the worst break and trued up the tail and glued it back together. Then I did the body work to repair the damage to get it ready to prime so I could make a mold to build a new fuse. see pics below. Well as soon as I figure out how to load my pics.
