Had a fun day flying in NJ today. Had a chance to have a flight with my friend Henry and got a little video. He was flying his 46% Hangar 9 Ultimate bipe and I was flying my new PilotRC 37% Edge 540. we were having fun just following each other in harriers most of the time.

Here's my latest project that I'm working on. Its a pilot Rc 37% edge540. The quality of the pilot arf's is amazing and can't be beat for the price.

I plan on running a tmm106cc engine, 8 hitec 7955tg servos, standard throttle servo, spektrum powersafe rx with a123 batteries. Planned weight rtf should be around 26 pounds.

I'll update as time allows but for now here are a few pictures...

Anybody that knows me knows that I love yaks. There is just something about them that makes them such awesome planes...

I recently bought a 58" Hyperion yak55sp 50"E" the e is for electric, but mine should be a 50"S" for SLIMER!

Yeah I did the unthinkable...I built a slimer, and to make it even worse...I'm running it on 30%nitro.

I love my Gas and electric planes, and hate the slimy planes, but I have a soft spot for a smooth running Saito engine....

Saito .82 running a APC 14 x 4W Prop and coolpower 30% Heli fuel
4 Hitec 225MG Servos and an old HS80 on the throttle.
Spektrum AR6200 Rx and Sanyo eneloop 2000mah 5 cell Rx battery

5.5 pounds RTF and 713 sq. in. of wing area....This plane is a floater and a 3D monster.

I just got myself the RCFactory Yak55 EPP foamy. This thing is a blast! I only have a couple flights on it, but it's starting to feel pretty good as I get it dialed in.

Here is a few pictures and a video from the second flight in calm air.

Thanks Gary for the pics and video!

This is my Great Planes Ultimate bipe. It's been good to me and I really enjoy flying it, but it's time to let it go.

Local sale in NJ, but I am willing to drive up to an hour to help deliver it...

So I was able to get into the airport with the Press and VIP's this afternoon. It was really cool meeting all of the pilots and seeing the pit crews and everything.

The Redbull race is almost here, and I'm lucky enough to live about 10 minute from the airport where the planes will be flying out of. I've been down there the past 2 days and even have them practicing at the waterfront nearby.

Here are some pictures that I took yesterday and today....Continue Reading

I just had to post this for all the nay sayers out there that say it can't be done....

Giant scale airplanes in small cars is very possible.

This is a picture of my 30% Yak in a Nissan Sentra.

The plane is about 85 or 86 inches from spinner to tail.

I have to position it just right so I can get the car into 5th and 6th gear. Reverse is another issue that I will deal with when I have to..haha!

Here is my Dynex 2.4 micro 3D foamy. The foam is 2mm depron and it is milled out for extra weight savings. It is an awesome airplane and a 100% improvement from my UM 4Site that it replaced.

I Used all of the gear from the 4Site including the brushed motor, however I am using a prop from a UM Sukhoi for a little more punch.

I plan on building another one with a brushless setup in the future.

The plane can be purchased at the following site:
