Today a ME 262 arrived at the front door. I am planning to make this model more scale than it already is using techniques seen over the forums. The build will be posted in this thread rather than creating another one. If anyone has any tips/comments i will look forward to hearing them

Had a great flight with my f15 on Sunday. Some of the other guys were so impressed i got a standing ovation

(i hadn't flown it at the club before then)

Charged her up, got about 10 meters down the runway and hear a horrible noise. I backed off to zero throttle right away and kept her tracking straight. Went into the grass and lost the landing gear (Now has no landing gear. Im goood at moding my jets )

Repairs started last night. No idea how Im going to get her to take off... probably hand launch i guess. I have 4 wood paddle pop sticks that are under the fuse. Two along the fuse and two under the intakes. With the runway at our club it should do a nice ROG.

The rock/stick/seed only took out one blade but still

Hey All,

Finally got around to taking some photos of the f16. The photos were from my mobile (cell phone) so the quality is 100%

Hope you like

Notice the plywood tail support and sorta scale exhaust. I am halfway through glassing the exhaust. I think i will go all grey for the scheme in USAF markings... and maybe just detail it up a bit

Hey All,

I have almost finished my f16. I got everything from Mark at and he did me a great deal on that. I am using the XF Mega Power and the very powerful 210-8XL in-runner. About 350+ watts on 4 cells with a reported performance of around 100mph. The build was simple and only took a few hours. I have carbon spar in the wing roots and a little bit in the tail.

Servos are just two BB servos which seam to be fine so far.

Not sure on a paint scheme yet. Something simple no doubt. Its a great jet though.

I will chuck a pic up soon. Im a bit slow
