DW Foamies Yak-55 & Juka...Rock'n Fun! (3 min 46 sec)

Vacation was a blast, and I flew the socks off my DW planes...and my AJ Slick. I am in love with the extra power I get from the new ThunderPower batteries. I see guys at the they love the zippy batteries...but then I hear complaints about cycle life and unexpected puffing etc. Not so with TP.

I still prefer the 55" planes that Mike Morgan puts out at DW Foamies in San Diego. A real nice product. Add some hitec servos...and Scorpion motor from Lucien Miller...and you have the keys to a great time.

I prefer rock'en videos...but I was flying kinda I went with mello music. :-) See ya at the field!

Well, we made the 14 hour trek to Phoenix, Arizona, home of the NFL Cardinals Football team. The stadium...was just waiting for us ...

Thanks to Jack and all the folks at Empire Hobby for making this event fantastic.

Lots of flying action, FreeStyle competitions, and Heli smacks downs, plus a WWII reenactment...that including blowing up a 20 foot aircraft carrier. I grabbed by Cannon HD camcorder and shot some foot for the DW Foamies people flying....a perfect venue for in door flight. I mostly fly my DW planes outside...but inside there was no wind...except for the air-handlers
