Was a great day until the pack disconnected from the PDB during a double front flip. My own fault for not checking connections well after 3 solid days of flying. Live and learn! Enjoy!

It certainly isn't the pretties flying in the world, but hey, I had fun doing it! Love this hobby and cannot complain with my progression after 2 weeks of acro. Can't wait to progress and learn more and more. Another thanks to NvS1 for guiding me through troubleshooting and fixes when the times came.

Today was a glorious day. I had my first major crash. WrECKED!! In the middle of a siuble front flip I lost video. I immediately disarmed. The impact popped the number 3 motor bell cleaned off and destroyed all 4 mounting screws for the stack. Luckily since I disarmed, the entire stack is still good!! Now to get another motor and figure out what went wrong with the video. Goggles charged antennas in place, initial chwck of solderin connections shows good. Maybe just a fluke??

After a few awesome crashes. Some repairs made and ready for next flight. Apparently you cant hold throttle in a loop.. ha. Capacitor install and clearance checked. Its probably not the best but it functions and is secure. Would love to see how other install their caps. Feel free to post pictures.

Today I changed out the dipole antenaa om the eachine vtxo3 and instead replaced with a rpsma ufl cable and aomway right polarized antenna with a matching one on the goggles. Still waiting for an lc filter to assist in some of the noise frome my crumby first time wiring. Special thanks to NVS1 for all of the online help and getting me flying. Just waiting for these 40mph gust to die down over the next couple of days. Several new packs on the way to increase my flight time each day.

With the wisdom of a friend I made improvements to the RX antennas. Added small zip ties to the top plate and used 2 layers of heat shrink to sturdy them up. Also dropped the cyclone props today and tried out these gem fan 5x4 3blade props. What a difference!
