There’s just something so magical about flying 700 – 800 size helicopters… it feels like the machine is alive, and if it’s alive, you are as well. *Cough* *cough* - or I wish it was just that plain simple – because it is not!
Big helis like this (my absolute favorites) are a complete nightmare to carry around, travel with and transport to anywhere further than your own backyard. I had given up on helis bigger than 450 size about 2 years ago. Last year I gave up on the 450 and my main heli became the T-Rex 250. And now… this feeling got me again; I’m cornered, I can’t stand taking big boxes with me to the field. I sold my last “big heli” - the Mini Comet. Although it’s hard to say it, that’s what the situation is looking like on the front lines… My main helicopter is now the T-Rex 150X, and I don’t intend to go bigger any time soon. This one fits perfectly on my backpack, so that I can go to the field by motorcycle and avoid the terrible traffic jams that plague this ((╬◣﹏◢)) place I happen to live on. Now things are simple – I just have to shove what I wanna take with me on the bag and I’m all set! And then It’s becoming harder and harder to see my heli at 50m away…

Frankly, I have no idea how these airplane pilots even survive…
