Tactic RM2 5.8ghz FPV Monitor Video Out & Giveaway

Hello everyone welcome back.

In today's video I will be showing you how I added composite video out to my Tactic RM2 FPV monitor. This was a fairly easy modification once I was able to locate the video out pin on the receiver. I also removed the stock battery and wired in a JST connector so I can plug any 1s lipo. All I needed for this project was a RCA cable and a jst connector. The rest of just patience and a little bit of soldering. This was a fun project and to say thank you to all my viewers I will be giving away a modified Tactic RM2 monitor. The monitor that will be given away works fine. Im keeping the one with the bad back-light. Let me know what you think on how I should choose the winner?

This is a 3D printed frame that is set up to fit the Eachine E011 flight controller. In this video you will see my finish up a 8.5mmx20mm build. It flies well. FPV Freerider Simulator for Android,Windows, Mac and Linux (3 min 10 sec)

In today's video I will be showing you another helpful application that is available on the google play store. This is FPV Freerider for Android. This is a very affordable sim that is available for PC, Mac and Android. Setting up your Taranis is a breeze. I find it really handy to have a sim on my phone because well, I always have my phone on me so there fore I always have a sim with me.

This simulator requires a high end device.
Note that this is a RC flight simulator, not a game. You might find that the controls are hard, but that's because it's made to mimic real life. It is highly recommended to use a good physical controller.

Supports first person view (FPV) and line of sight (LOS) flying.
Includes self-leveling and acro mode.
Option for low resolution mode (to be able to get higher framerate)

This is a demo with one scene only (the desert). The full version of FPV Freerider includes six sceneries and a lot of more setup options for rates, camera and physics, as well as a 3D flight mode for inverted flying.
The quad in this demo has deliberately rather sluggish settings, in the full version you can tune it precisely to your liking.

BetaFPV 83mm Custom Build (7 min 28 sec)


Hello everyone welcome back.

In today's video I will be showing off a new build I have been working on.

This is the BetaFPV 83. I have upgraded the frame from 65mm to 83mm. I was able to get it flying really well after some tweaks. I ended up soft mounting the flight controller using a combination of plastic washers and rubber bushings. This cleared up my issues with pitch and roll drift. I did have to adjust the flight controller orientation due to the layout of the new frame. I used 180 for roll and 35 for yaw.

Breathe Some Life Into Your Old Quadcopter (3 min 50 sec)


Hello everyone welcome back.

In todays video I want to show you how you can breathe some life into a old poor performing quadcopter.

In this video I used the Eachine FB90 also know as the FatBee 90. The Eachine FB90 out of the box is not the greatest. It comes with a carbon fiber and plastic frame. The ducts themselves are too small and rub the 41mm 4 blade props. Flying the FB90 is nothing exciting. I originally found a frame that was really light. This was a 105mm frame sold by USmile. I liked the way it flew but the thinkess of the carbon worried me. I dont beleive it will do too well in crashes.

The new frame I used is called the QWinOut Smart Carbon Fiber 100. I used this frame with a BetaFPV flight controller and some 8mm motors. It was a lot of fun but I wanted something that was 2s. It was time to move the FB90 parts into this frame to see how it would perform. I'm impressed by how well it flies. I've crashed it a couple times and there was no noticeable damage. You will see a light crash at the end of this video.

Todays video is showing you how I took the DM002 and upgraded the Flight Controller, motors and camera. I had to make some slight modifications to the frame and camera mount. A huge thank you to Aaa at the Micro Motor Warehouse community for the inspiration. I love these hybrid builds.

In this build I used the BetaFPV Flight Controller along with the 17500kv 7mm x 20mm motors. This was a very simple build and required not soldering and was pretty much plug and play.

Today I have the GaoNeng 450mah 80c/160c Lipo Battery. These are a great upgrade for any of you flying 75mm tiny whoops. My Beta 75 had no problems with the extra weight. These batteries come in at 13.2grams which is almost double what the 260mah batteries weighed but like I said the Beta 75 hasnt had any issues.
