Hello everyone welcome back.

In today's video im excited to show you the GriffonFPV FrSky Micro Receiver. This little guy is tiny. at only .7 grams this can be used on any micro.

Here are the full specs and binding procedure.

How to Bind:
Take the X9D transmitter for an example:

3. Restart the receiver. LED solid - normal; flashing - loss of signal or failure in binding.

BetaFPV 550Mah LiHV 1S Lipo (4 min 52 sec)

In today's video I will be reviewing and showing you the new BetaFPV 550mah LiHV 1s Lipo batteries. These were sent over by BetaFPV so a huge thank you to BetaFPV. These are a step up from the Gaoneng 450 3.7v lipo batteries that I was using with the BetaFPV Beta 75. These batteries will give you a average of 5 minutes of flight time. In my testing I didn't notice any heat from the motors or battery. I was flying in 40-45 degree temperatures.

716 Brushed Motor Thrust Testing. BetaFPV, Flight-Sky & GnarlyFPV (5 min 41 sec)


Hello everyone welcome back.

In today's video I will be doing some very crude motor and prop trust testing. In this video I will be pitting the BetaFPV, Flight-Sky and GnarlyFPV 716 brushed motors. In this test I used my homemade rig which consists of the motor mounts and ducts from a Beta 75 and a Beta 65s frame. I used standard 4 blade props for this test. Each test I used a fully charged LIHV 260mah BetaFPV battery. The motor was then cranked up to max in BetaFlight for a few seconds and the sustained pressure was measured.

The results were the following

BetaFPV - 8.4grams
Flight-Sky - 7.9grams
GnarlyFPV - 9.3grams

BetaFPV Beta65s Full Setup Guide DSMX (8 min 46 sec)


Hello everyone welcome back.

In today's video I will be giving you a full bind to fly guide on setting up your Beta 65s. With the FrSky version it's much easier to bind and fly. With the DSMX version I found some small issues that required some tweaking. Watch the full video to learn how to change your RXranges and set your subtrims. I will also give you at look at my pids and rates. If you have any questions leave me a comment and I will get back with you as soon as possible.

Here is all the information on the DSMX build and what I used to complete the build.

This was a really fun build. Being able to work with and use the new camera was nice. I like that they provide you with the pig tail for the video in and out. I was able to add in a pigtail on the board to connect the camera in a lot easier. With the provided two pin standoff the power connection was a breeze. Just be sure to watch the orientation of the camera on the flight controller when you are soldering the joint.

In today's video I will be showing you how I added composite video out to my Tactic RM2 FPV monitor. This was a fairly easy modification once I was able to locate the video out pin on the receiver. I also removed the stock battery and wired in a JST connector so I can plug any 1s lipo. All I needed for this project was a RCA cable and a jst connector. The rest of just patience and a little bit of soldering. This was a fun project and to say thank you to all my viewers I will be giving away a modified Tactic RM2 monitor. In today's video I will be showing you another helpful application that is available on the google play store. This is FPV Freerider for Android. This is a very affordable sim that is available for PC, Mac and Android. Setting up your Taranis is a breeze. I find it really handy to have a sim on my phone because well, I always have my phone on me so there fore I always have a sim with me.

This simulator requires a high end device.
Note that this is a RC flight simulator, not a game. You might find that the controls are hard, but that's because it's made to mimic real life. It is highly recommended to use a good physical controller.

Option for low resolution mode (to be able to get higher framerate)

BetaFPV 83mm Custom Build (7 min 28 sec)


Hello everyone welcome back.

In today's video I will be showing off a new build I have been working on.

This is the BetaFPV 83. I have upgraded the frame from 65mm to 83mm. I was able to get it flying really well after some tweaks. I ended up soft mounting the flight controller using a combination of plastic washers and rubber bushings. This cleared up my issues with pitch and roll drift. I did have to adjust the flight controller orientation due to the layout of the new frame. I used 180 for roll and 35 for yaw.
