I just watched the movie about Poncho Barnes and fell in love with the travel air mystery ship in red and black.
I want to find one already built or commission a build. 60-80 wing span. nitro or gas.
Who is up to the challenge.? The build is above my skill level.

I have a 63 inch royal kit built by Don's Hobby shop in Kansas with a OS 95. She is a beauty but a handful on takeoff and landing. I am working with the landing gear to make her easier to control on the ground. The fuselage is short and the landing gear is tall compared to the electric version.

I have the the great planes 44 curtis hawk powered by a electric 540kv with 13x8 electric prop and 4s 3300mah battery. She is a pleasure flying and on the ground.

I am looking for a large hawk gasoline powered

UPDATE 1/2018 I needed more power to get airborne without stall. I sent back to Don's Hobby Shop in April 2017 for repairs and to change to a DA 35 engine. Don's still has the plane and is not responding to email or phone. I made an online order and it went through. Is anybody else working with Don's
Hobby Shop in Kansas? Please email me wsjones@tds.net...Continue Reading
