The H-King Focke Wulf FW-190 is molded in all EPO foam and has a host of features that will make any scale enthusiast happy. Arriving in a plug and fly configuration, minimal work is required to get the FW-190 into the air. We have done the difficult work of installing the motor, servos, retracts, and even LED lights for you. Simply complete final assembly, program your radio, and fly. Scale details include retractable landing gear like any good warbird should have, a sliding canopy, faux machine gun and other scale parts. The working split flaps have been updated. The scale 3 blade propeller rounds out the authentically look of the model.

The Focke-Wulf FW 190 Shrike or Butcher Bird was a German single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft designed by Kurt Tank in the late 1930s and widely used during World War II. Powered by a radial engine in most versions, the Fw 190 had ample power and was able to lift larger loads than the Messerschmitt Bf 109. The Fw 190 was used by the Luftwaffe in a wide variety of roles, including day fighter, fighter-bomber, ground-attack aircraft and, to a lesser degree, night fighter. The Fw 190 was well-liked by its pilots. Some of the Luftwaffe's most successful fighter aces claimed a great many of their kills while flying it, including Otto Kittel, Walter Nowotny and Erich Rudorffer.

After the huge success of the Turnigy Evolution, the engineers at Turnigy listened to customer feedback, went back to the drawing board and came up with the exciting Turnigy Evolution PRO. As with the Evolution, the Evolution PRO is designed with the drone flier in mind and is still amazingly compact for easy backpack transportation.

There are many new features and updates to make the Evolution PRO the best radio around. Starting with a repositioned on/off switch and a new lanyard attachment point for easier use. There are now stiffer springs to help the sticks and a repositioned screen so that people that are “pinchers” have better control of the sticks plus the user now has access to stick calibration. A momentary button has been added which is great to use as pre-arm on quads. For those that had trouble hearing the buzzer the sound has been made louder and there is haptic feedback. Now you can store twenty different models (instead of five) for easier swapping of models. Firmware has also been updated from the Evolution.

The ergonomically designed case makes for easy use of all...Continue Reading

Avios Albatross Flying Boat 1620mm (63.7") PNF - HobbyKing Product Video (2 min 22 sec)

Avios has designed a beautiful twin-engine Grumman Albatross flying boat. What could be better than a large monohull flying boat gracing the skies or taxing across a lake? This excellent plane is made of strong EPO foam and comes with scale plastic fittings for an extremely realistic look. It is painted in a US Navy rescue scheme of seagull gray, yellow and white for easy visibility under all conditions.

The Grumman HU-16 Albatross came into service with the United States Air Force in 1949 and was primarily designed as an amphibious plane for search and rescue missions. It was extensively used for combat search and rescue in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. As an amphibian, it could land on both land and open sea and was optimized for 4-foot (1.2m) seas but could land in heavier seas.

The Albatross is well powered by twin Aerostar 3536-850KV motors with scale 3-blade 10x6 propellers. The 30A reversing ESCs make it easier to navigate around the water. The addition of a water rudder makes maneuvering on water even easier. The built-in flaps provide plenty of lift and make landings and takeoffs look easy. The Albatross provides a great presence in the air that will look outstanding at any time and can easily do scale passes that all enthusiasts enjoy.

Get out on the water and go soaring across the sky with the Avios Grumman Albatross.
