Revived Bottle Boat. Using Furibee quad to provide FPV: you could call it a modular setup where the camera can actually fly away from the deck of the boat. Red propellers provide reverse function via separate FC board and controller.

Checking CG location on 3 different models. The CS - (straight leading edge). The original C-1 and the C-6. The "44" under the wing of the C-6 means the fuselage is 44cm like the original C-1. Some of the other C-1s were built with 40cm fuselages.

Back in the hangars for repairs after successful-yes, successful testing of aerobatic modification. We can now do programmed barrel rolls and loops.

This will test the performance of a straight leading edge versus the swept wing. Also will have the directly under wing mounted motors. I've been speculating if this is the single factor why the C-1 outperforms other versions in vertical manouvers.

A new design with six motors, anhedral in the wings and dihedral in the tail.

Update: Turns out that 6 motors just makes the plane too heavy and slow. It flew fine but the anhedral made it too unstable, especially turning at slow speeds.

It's so much fun to fly low and buzz yourself with this plane! Even new pilots that have never flown before are cruising around after 5 minutes of training. Night flying is a blast with all the lights.

I wanted to test this very basic canard layout with the anhedral on the canard just to see how it would work, particularly when turning. Flies great but doesn't recover from stalls.

Back in the air after 29 years. This time with my own design. 8:56 on a 720mah battery. 12:20 on a 600mah!! Probably because of the lighter wing loading.
