Because of a storm front coming through, we had some great wind, albeit mixed with rain. About 11am they guys were "rained off" the top and went down for lunch. Luckily, it cleared in about an hour and it didn't return. Unfortunately, the wind was little light after the rain, but it gradually picked back up to end the day on a high note.

Saturday was an East wind. A little better than last week. We actually had a decent wind (again,compared to last week). Maybe 7-10mph wind out of the East to ESE.
We had a good crowd, only a few mid-airs (foamies only) and no "real crashes". I finally got my old Jerry Hotliner (warmliner now) back together and had a great time.

What can I say nice about this weekend? Perfect temps, beautiful sky and that's about it. There was nary a drop of wind (which changed directions often) and the thermals were few and far between. In other words, I should have stayed home. At least the winching and electric guys had some decent flying. I know I walked a LOT with my Art Hobby Falco.

Appears we are back to "meh" Saturdays. Wind was fairly light out of the N to NE. We flew the NE Bowl, but had to rely on thermals for any decent flying. The highlight of the day was Larry S returning after an extended medical stay.
Larry was looking great and put in quite a few flight hours.
We finally ended the day by heading down to the Peachtree and making plans for our club June trip to the North West.
