Please check out my latest edit from my tiny whoop with recently changing to the Betafpv Beta65s frame and 7x16mm motors kit it is a whole new beast and its safe to say I'm not going back to the standard 6x15mm. If you race, the required motor size is 6x15mm in almost all tiny whoop racing leagues I believe but I do not race so keep that in mind. The torque difference is very noticeable and has the ability to catch itself much better after flips/rolls, I wouldnt say the top end speed is that much different though from a 6x15mm setup. Please check out my latest edit of it here:

7x16mm Tiny Whoop Fun (3 min 7 sec)

-The full setup is in the description of the video, minus the props I did use the king kong 3 blade props which are the exact same prop as far as I can tell that comes with the kit.

Hey their guys! As the title says, i lost my runcam 2 at the sumner meadows golf course. It is one of my favorite local spots and I hope some others who read my blog might fly their as well! I lost it over in the back corner by the group of trees next to the red bridge. It is a grey runcam 2 with electrical tape and a 32gig lexar sd card. If anyone finds it or sees anything about one that was found at the location please let me know I would love to get my camera and my footage back thank you guys!!! Happy flying!!!! It is the same one I have on my chameleon in this picture:

Hey guys, built up a new frame as I found I could never get my martian 3 consistent in flight due to the cheap hardware. So I decided to go with a local company and bought the quadrysteria rush 5" frame! Paired with the emax rs2205s motors and the Racekraft 5045 tri blades it is a beast! Fc, escs, rx and camera are the same as the previous build. Thanks for looking! Check out the first flight with it here:

Just bought a gopro session so had to go to my spot down the road and try it out. Makes the quad feel better in the air over the hero 4 silver, not as heavy and less drag threw the air. Overall I feel my flying is progressing! Check it out!! Please like and share if you think others might enjoy it as well!! Thanks for reading guys!

Since I know some of you may be curious, here is my setup! You can check out how she performs on my channel!! PNWFPV!!

Frame: martian 3
Flight controller: betaflight f3 running 3.1.6
Esc's: emax 30a bullet running dshot300
Motors: cobra champion 2205 2350kv
Fpv camera: foxeer hs1177 with 2.5mm lense
Hd cam: gopro hero 4 with lense protector
Vtx: akk switchable 25/200/600
Receiver: spektrum 4649t serial telemetry
Batteries: tattu 4s 1300mah mix of 45 and 75c

Now I've been testing a few different props and havent decided what I like best just yet but have been using:

Racekraft 5040 tri blades
Racekraft 5051 tri blades
Lumineir butter cutters 5050 tri blades

My radio and goggles are pretty standard nothing special I use a spektrum dx6e and fatshark dominator v3s with standard fatshark non diversity module.

Overall I really like this setup so far. I feel it needs a little more top end some times but a lot of the time I'm not using more then 60-70% throttle for what I like to do so I cant complain to much. The all up weight is something I need to weigh out exactly as well but it flies very light and agile so hasnt concerned me much, there is a few things in the martian 3 kit I dont use as well because I felt it was not necessary for the build so it may be a little lighter then the usual martian 3. So far the martian 3 has been the frame for me, I can get it overnight at no extra cost and so far in the few months I have been flying it I have only replaced an arm and a stand off, compared to some of the frames out right now I can buy 3 of these kits and have plenty of spares for the price of a pro frame, and it flies great for me and very easy to tune.

Thanks for reading guys! Check in for more posts and more videos on my channel! Will be posting at least once a week if not more!!

Here is another battery packs review for you guys

Specs:

Cell count- 3
Discharge rating- 25c
Mah- 1800
Connector- Deans

I like doing battery pack reviews the most i think and lately i cant get enough of the gforce brand batteries from value hobby!

These packs are low in cost and high in quality, which who isnt looking for that?

I have 2 of these and have been currently testing them in the zeta science extreme 3d model and they fit it perfectly! The extra weight over the 1500mah version makes the extreme fly much better but that has nothing to do with the battery performance.

They can be purchased with different style connectors to fit your needs so check them out at valuehobby.com!

Here is the new wicked yak epo from rcplanebuilder.com!

This thing is so fun to fly and does very good 3d, now being epo makes it heavier then a standard epp foamy of the same size and thats one thing you can feel in flight is that it flies heavier as well but the performance out weighs the weight of it.

My setup:
Tmotor 2206
Ztw 12a esc
Rcpb 9g servo
X2 rcpb 7g servos
Value hobby dsm2 rx
Value hobby 3s 500mah 30c packs
8x4dd prop

Go check it out at rcplanebuilder.com!

Ps. Flight video coming soon

Hi there, this reciever is a great parkflyer reciever and for $8.99 a piece how could you pass that up.

Some specs:

Weight: 4grams
Voltage range: 3.5v-9.0v
Channels: 6
Range: about 500 yards

I love the quality of the gforce products and currently use this rx in a warbird model, a 32" epp foamy , and a 43" 3d model and have a couple more on the way.

This rx provides great range, light weight, cheap but quality and very easy to setup, it even comes with a bind plug and instruction picture so you know where to plug everything in and in the correct way.

If you go to valuehobby.com to look at them, they also carry 2 other versions in dsmx both in 4 channel and 6 channel versions so check them out!

Thanks for looking

Here is my thoughts and expeeience with these packs.

Lets start with some specs:

Weight: 46grams
Capacity: 500mah
Discharge rate: 30c
Cell count: 3

- Great choice for heavier 31-32" epp foamies requiring a 3s setup such as a crack yak or one of the value hobby line of planes

Personally i have used these packs in a value hobby laser 32" epp and will be also using them in one if the new rcplanebuilder wicked yak 55's, they performed awesome in the laser and have no doubt in them to perform just as well in the wicked yak.

Mine have about 40 cycles on each of them (i currently have 3) and still fly as if they are brand new!

They are very high quality packs and at $7.25 a piece from valuehobby.com you cant afford not to have them for your foamie!

Thanks for looking!

I havent had thw chance to maiden this thing yet because of waiting on the battery packs to come in, but thought i should do a little review on my thoughts thus far.

This is a new 3d model from zeta science (newzeta.com)

Its not your average 3d model, it is a completely new design and does not copy anything else out there, full epo and carbon fiber construction.

Newzeta was kind enough to give me an opportunity to test/review this model and surely enough about a week or so later this beautiful model showed up on my porch lol

The wingspan is 43" and is super light for its size!

It has a very unique and easy removeable wing design which uses a carbon fiber tube with set screws built into the wings, kind of like the eflite inverza 280 or edge 540qq does.

I was sent a plug and play model having to only provide a rx and battery pack

The servos and motor are actually name brand emax equipment, not cheap china products, i was very pleased with this!

The esc comes with a replica deans pre installed

Landing gear setup is super straight forward, already prebuilt (except for wheel pants and skirts) and you just slide them into the slot and your ready to go, i put a couple dabs of gorilla glue on them just to make sure it stayed strong.

The paint on this model is very good quality, much better then you would see on a epo plane of different companies.

Overall i am very happy with the quality of this plane and i cant wait to fly it!

They even supply the glue to build so you really only need your own tx/rx and a battery pack, 1300mah-1500mah. Ill be using gforce 1500mah 35c packs provided by valuehobby.

More details and flight video to come after maiden and a few trim flights so stay tuned!

-Mike
