Yepieee Look what Santa put infront of my door during those holidays.

That's the ready to fly version ( 30 minutes of work to put the battery and receiver in).

Equipped with MKS servos all around.

Come with ballasts and bags.

Can't wait for the winter to come to an end.

This year I choose to make a test with the Valenta Volcano available trough SoaringUSA. It's the electric version, so the plane arrived with the nose already cut.

It's a 3.7m plane that look like a scale plane but is not a scale plane.

The plane has ailerons, flaps and spoilers so 6 servos in the wing. The Flaps are there just for camber reason, the way they are driven made it difficult to use during landing, the deflection is not there.

But the spoilers are there and they made the job they're designated to. Landing is a breeze, just come and if you are to high use the spoiler and play with the elevator to bring the plane down.

The motor is a NEU 1506 1.5Y geared 6.7/1, with a 18x10 folding propeller and 4s1p 5000 mah lipo's. I also have a RX battery made of 5 x eneloop 2000 mah.

The plane weight just over 4 kg.

I alway asked for a friend to launch the plane but in the next days I'll try to do it myself, the plane has plenty of power with the motor combination and it's just a mater of keeping the wing flat.
