this build has been taking awhile. unusual shapes i guess. I think I got the turtledeck to large. but it's only gotta look close to scale as I am not a perfectionist. haven't decided on power system yet. or color scheme

Well I decided to include some pics of my new build since brian showed some interest. this was pretty much a budget build as i bought most of the stuff. motor, esc, and servo's here on rcgroups out of the for sale ads. I tried to keep this plane as cheap as possible to keep the bills under the wife's radar. here's the pic's

Well the Gws me-109 met an unfortunate end after the repaint. I was so proud of myself about the repaint I had to go fly it. Was beautiful day with no wind i had probably two circuits done on my field. when pow radio hit, I had it low coming across the field when bam heard motor power cut and hard roll left.blam hit terra firma at probably 40 mile an hour. So I wound up with a big pile of foam scattered 10 ft across the ground.

So I jumped into this build

Just got my R3D, and it was all out a pretty simple build. Everything was included in the kit. Maiden was pretty uneventful. the only thing I'm having trouble with is getting the cg Right. No matter where I put the battery it wants to pull into a hover at over 1/4 throttle.
Setup is as follows
Axi 2212/26
cc ph 25
apc sf 10 x 5
tp 1320 3s batt
berg 4 receiver
2 futaba 3108 aileron's
2 4.3 grams forget what brand for elevator and rudder
weight without batt is 11 oz

Well The pc-9 replacement is finished and maidened. I just love this plane. You can set it up many ways, and is bullet proof with some flying experience.
Okay so here's the setup I went with this time.

Ultrafly a/30/39 geared 3 to 1
Apc E 8 x 8
Castle thunderbird 18
tp 2100 gen 2
Electron 6
Hs-55 ailerons
Hs-55 elevator
No rudder
Covered the entire plane with econokote
Auw is 19.3 Ounces 545 grams

And to top it all off the plane whistles in a dive!!
Including some pics of the plane and maiden.
Needed only two clicks of right aileron
And the 3 clicks of down i put in before launch proved right on needed only little up for inverted.
