Just got back from a very nice weekend of slopin'. Had a great time in good lift. A little bit o' combat with me taking of the nose of Calebs' Stryker with my Weasel. Both kept flying.
Caleb posted this video he made last week of my Bob Martin designed Dynaflite Talon. All balsa & ply (don't want to fly this one near rocks)! I'm glad he got me doing my landing in the ice plant, It acts like a sponge when hitting it! Makes a nice challenge.
Thanks Again Caleb!!

Madstick Cliff - Old school Simitar Centron flying wing (2 min 12 sec)

Here's video of my Simitar Centron I posted here on rcgroups a year or so ago. It was taken at Farren Rd. in Santa Barbara.
Today was another great day at both the electric field and at the slope. I'm thankful I get to do so many forms of flying in one day. From slowsticks to 3d
to some fine slope flying in the afternoon. It's good to be on the Central Coast

Today was a mediocre day at the electric field. Wrecked the foamy extra 300. Found out it doesn't come out of a flat spin as low as I thought The Jack Flyer almost snapped its wing in half after doing a bunch rolls. All fixable though.
Caleb & I did get out to the slope and after waiting a few minutes the wind switched from offshore to onshore and had a great time with the Alula, Weasel, Talon and Easy Glider. All flew great in the first nice windy day I've had off this year. Hopefully Caleb will get some video up soon. We'll try again tomorrow.

Here's some pics of my mini 3d I finished tonight. I just drew it up and this is how it came out. 24 in wing span. It weighs right at 3 oz RTF. I think I'll call it the Jack flyer. We'll see, depends on how she flys tomorrow.
It has a full flying stab.
