This is the Gee Bee I enlisted help with last year over a roll problem. First off... thanks to all who helped me find the prob. Turned out to be a combo of problems. #1) A twist in the wing.. #2) When I did an upgrade on the motor I didn't have the right offset. Finally came out good. I was most happy with her. She flew like a true Gee Bee... always on the stick... but was fast and very responsive.

Now for the bad side of this...
After 8 to 10 flights she was lost in a real Gee Bee fashion. In a Pylon Race she lost her left wing in a hard turn. I had just rolled her across the straight away and put her in a negative G turn... Yes I was showing off. Thought I had the race won... when her left wing just blew away. She spun in at full speed and died a classic Gee Bee death......Continue Reading

I've had this plane for about 3 years. It's a StarMax 1600mm A-1 from banana. Flies great... after changing most of the stock electronics. The big prob was the retracts. They couldn't handle a 7lb plane.
