Just a couple of pics of my clubmate Adrian playing around with his mig 21 in his shed.
As you do...

Restoration is going beautifully, looks awesome. If you need a test pilot for the maiden Adrian, I'm available...

New vid, Here's me having fun with the avanti.

Really enjoy this plane. Had to cut out a tiny bit where my mate on the camera was swearing (don't need to be banned from rcg again lol), and there's a little low inverted stuff at the end. Cheers

Here's a few pics of a good club mates scratch built 747 that made its first appearance at my club today for some testing. This thing is freaking amazing! 6 meter wingspan, 4 turbines with 56kg of thrust. The attention to detail and the finish is simply astonishing.

Absolutely incredible achievement, I'm in awe personally. Can't wait to make a video of it! (edit: Some extra pics and a small taxi vid added)

I'll update this thread as I get more material and vids. Cheers. .

Was lucky enough to have Aussie champ Chris Brislin do a little 3D clinic at my club. Awesome to watch, not bad for a borrowed airframe on the day with a bit of wind.

Well, here I am, quietly minding my own business having a bit of a 3D session and maiden of a new mustang, when one of my clubmates turns up with this MONSTER!!! Omg...

cost:almost $200,000 Aussie money with all the survey stuff. (Yep, you read that right - two...hundred...grand...).
Servos: $16,000 euros. (Whatever that works out to be).
Engine: some massive rotary thing that needs a huge radiator and a dude on a laptop to fly it.
Weight: (depending on the load) up to 60kg.

these guys have a business doing aerial survey work, and this has been custom built for the big mining companies up in the remote northwest of oz. it's got a massive range, (max 20 litre fuel tank), 4K cameras and sensors all over it - and carries all this specialist mining survey equipment underneath, depending what they are looking for. (Hence the long legs). Completely blew my mind....

they were just doing some hover testing today, yes I got a little vid, I'll add to this post when I have time.

One of my clubmates captured these nice shots of me flying my 60 edge and lil 48 extra. Damn I love flying these two planes, they are sensational for 3D. Absolutely two of my favourites in my hangar.

Had to share this because 1, it's awesome and 2, to commemorate 75yrs today since the bombing of Darwin. A lot of people don't realise it was one of the biggest raids by the Japanese, they dropped more bombs, sunk more ships, and killed more civilians than at pearl harbour, and the raid was carried out by the same carriers. The Darwin bombing was largely kept quiet because the Aussie government didn't want it to get out how badly underprepared we were. and has hardly been recognised since. Today we remember. Lest we forget.

Thanks to everyone that serves or has served, no matter your country

And my new edge. This thing is awesome for 3D, though I needed to add sfgs to make it a bit more stable in high alpha stuff.

Hacker 8s set up swinging a 21x10. My new favourite

Custom graphics from bandegraphix btw.

Just some pics of the p47. So glad I went to a lot of trouble getting a high powered 6s set up from the states and the vario prop from Germany - the plane flies beautifully. Video soonish I hope

Vid I did for a mate of his maiden day with the hsd viper. I've been lucky enough to have quite a few flights with it now and it's a beautiful flyer as you'll see. Super stable and easy, this will be the jet clubs new trainer, and I can say from personal experience, it's awesome fun to fly.

Here's a mate at my clubs maiden on the new freeing F-14, in some crazy wind at the end of our annual show for the public. I did a pretty poor job on the camera, there's not much after I cut out most of the dot in the sky/shaky stuff. I'll do a better vid of it soon.
