I have just finished with my first Top Flite, Electric conversion, and it looks pretty good! It will be pulled by an E-Flite Power 90, Hobby Wing 100 amp HV esc, Spektrum 7 channel receiver, E-Flite Electric Retracts, 16x10 APC prop and Hitec servos!

I have searched for a month for a site that has a Habu 2 fuselage and they are all out of stock. However, tonight I found on, They are showing available here, and I've just ordered one! Hope it's true. I also have two back-ordered on Horizon.

Last week my slick experience some sort of malfunction. I was flying it when it all of a sudden knife edged on it's own. I corrected it, and it rolled once again. This plane, the spectrum receiver and servos were all new.

Is it worth trying to repair this damage? I would like to because, I paid $465 for this ARF only one month ago. I have roughly 8 flights on the plane.

Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

I've only been flying since Mar 2012, and the sport has me hooked bad. un-built H9, Corsair 60 ARF still in the box, a 3DHS 47' Extra in my trunk and a 3DHS 71' AJ Slick that should arrive on, 7 Aug 2013. I've promised my wife that I'm done ordering for the rest of 2013. ...I never though I'd get the bug this bad.

I'm looking to buy a 30cc (73' to 78') sized Extra 300 and cannot decide whether to go with Extreme Flight, AeroWorks or Pilot. Quality wise, are they all about the same? AeroWorks is slightly more expensive than the other two.

If not, which and why? ...just trying to get input from someone with more experience than I have. I've only been in this hobby for just over a year now.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

I purchased one of General Hobbies Skyline 30cc Ravens last week and finished it today, 2 June 2013. The build was very straight forward and I had no major issues. It assembled well; and all of the parts went together seamlessly. I must admit, I didn't think the quality would be as nice as it turned out to be. My only concern was the thinness of the wing pockets on the fuse. On these I simply coated them with 30 minutes, to strenthen them up. The elevator stab lined up perfectly with the wing. I purchased the E-flite Power 160, Castle Creations Pheonix Edge 120 amp ESC, Castle Creations Pro Bec, Hi-tech 160oz servos and a Spetrum 7 channel receiver to get her flying.

I bought this plane because of the price and for the experience of flying a plane in this size.

I'm happy so far with this purchase and plan to maiden it tomorrow weather permitted.

Hello Pilots, just a quick question. Has anyone setup the new Hangar 9, Messerschmitt with either an Eflite power 60 or Rimfire .80? If so, did you have to add roughly 4.0 oz of weight to balance it at the recommended 3 1/2 inches?

Hello, I have just ordered this plane and ordered the suggested e-flite power 110. This plane is said to weight 10 to 12 lbs. However I am thinking about changing my order to a power 90. I have seen in threads that some have used power 60s, which I think would be under powered. Would this motor (power 90)be powerful enough to fly this plane--Seagull PC-9, 120 ARF?

Good afternoon pilots, I am looking at buying a hangar 9 f4u-1d corsair 50 arf. Does anyone know if the wing assembly is removable for transport/storage?

I am currently using Clear View and want something a bit better. What's better for R/C planes, Phoenix or Real Flight? ...why?? Thanks for your help.

The wife let me assemble and maiden one of my gifts early ) It was gusty here in Vegas today, but I managed to get Petie the 2nd up and away without incident! It handled well in the 10 to 14 mph winds, but I cannot wait for a nice calmer today. ...setting up a landing was interresting in those winds )

I installed one of these in my old PZ T-28 and flew it here today at our field in Las Vegas in 12 to 20 mile an hour gusting winds; it handled amazingly. I landed it perfectly, just like a Hurrier Jet ) level and straight. ...only have a little bit of elevator fluter to tweak out ...only noticed it at full speed up wind and as stated, the wind was guesting up to 20mph here today. I still need to work on the 3D sittings. I have been flying in 2D mode.

Has anyone used the Eagle Tree Guardian 2D/3D Stabilizer on a Habu 2 yet? ...and if so, what did you think?

Just a quick question for anyone with ParkZone's new Habu 2. I have set mine up and have added almost 2 onces to the tail in order to balance it at the required 4 inches aft of the leading edge. Have any of you encountered this as well?

Hey team, I am looking at a Drastik 40, it's a 58 inch stick sold by a company called Texas RC Planes. Have any of you heard of this company or purchased this plane? If so, what are your thoughts quality wise?

Pilots I am currently using a Spektrum DX6i, and am looking at upgrading to the DX8. Would you recommend this radio or something different and why? I am looking at an upgrade because I will soon have 12 planes.

...I am also thinking about putting a good gyro in my EF 64' MXS EXP, your thoughts?

Thanks for your inputs/thoughts.

This morning Greg maiden my EF MXS 64" for me; and, it went flawlessly. He only added one click of up trim and two clicks of right aileron trim. It flew as straight as an arrow! ...and the EF power combo is a beast! It sounds fierce in the air and the yellow is awesome!

Hello pilots, I've just received and almost finished assembling my Extreme Flight 64' MXS EXP and have run into a glitch. I went with Hitec MG225 servos and because the elevator and rudder slots are parallel to each other and not off centered, installing one prevents the other from being installed. Has anyone else run into this issue? Thanks for your help.
