Came too close to a tree today, clipped some leaves and down came my quad. One arm broke on landing. Just ordered some more arms from Hoping they get here by Wednesday. I have replacement motors, props, and ESCs, but no arms!

Here's another video right before my crash of the quad close up.

Even though I had one session of flying before this(not including the first video in my previous post), these are the next two sessions I was able to take video of thanks to my wife.

Had a couple light crashes before these videos, low to the ground. Noticed my quad drifting backwards slightly afterwards. No big deal right now. I just want to concentrate on flying before tweaking little things here and there in the NAZA assistant.

Getting the hang of this!

I'm still waiting on my battery charger, which probably won't be here for another week, but I was able to fly for the first time a little bit today.

My battery had about a half charge left in it after Tony tested everything. After a couple small hiccups, I was able to get the quad off the ground.

I only used GPS mode. Hovering was cool. The controls were very responsive. This is literally my first time using a remote control device that isn't a $20 deal you can get at Walmart.

I played around with the yaw a bit, turning while in place, left and right. But it's a little hard to stay level as you're also moving the throttle stick slightly when yawing.

I guess that's just something one needs to get used to.

Still a lot of learning to do, but I'm well on my way.

Here's a short video I took. I wanted to concentrate on flying it than filming it.

My quad came on Monday.

I'm still waiting on a battery charger replacement to arrive. And I'm unfortunately busier than usual so I probably won't get a chance to test things out for another week or so!

Eagerly awaiting my quad to arrive in the mail, most likely on Monday.

Thanks to Tony for the quick turnaround. He received my package some time on Wednesday and shipped everything on Friday afternoon.

I've gotten busy with work lately and haven't had much free time to spend on my F450 build. When I first started getting into multi rotors almost 2 months ago I wasn't busy at all. Now I'm just too impatient to start from scratch with everything.

I'm going to have Tony from rc-drones finish my quad and set it up with a new TX/RX. This way I can start flying very soon and reverse engineer or tinker with what I have in preparation for my first complete build sometime down the road.
