Added controls for throttle channel.

If throttle channel is selected, flight path gets separated into motor and glide segments with different colors. Which make it handy for electric glider pilots. (It is now easy to display and analyse selected segments only)

If you want whole flight in one segment, just select "None" in throttle channel.

Here is how it now looks in Google Earth:

Hi All,
Futaba has finally introduced Logging feature in it's latest firmware updates for 18MZ and 14SG. However, it only provides a tool to convert logs into CSV format.

I find it handy to view my GPS logs in Google Earth.

There is a workflow for converting Futaba's CSV files into KML manually in Excel
Introduced by MtnDewDewd in his post (Thanks to Silent-AV8R for showing that to me)

But I wanted to have an easier way. So I created a simple online conversion tool:
Just upload your CSV file you are getting from Futaba's tool and you'll get KML file, that can be directly opened in Google Earth.

Alpha version for now
Yesterday it had a couple of bugs, which made it compatible with my own logs from 14SG only.
Now fixed. Please let me know if you face any troubles using the tool.

I'm going to add more features like:
1. Extend compatibility to other brands (FrSky Taranis, maybe others)
2. Mark different flight phases with different colors (e.g. Mark segments with zero throttle for gliders)

Update (9July 2014):
Added segmented (Motor/Glide) flight paths. Now electric glider pilots may have powered flight segments drawn in different colors.
And It is now easy to select separate Accent + Glide segments for analysis.

Here is how it looks now in GE:

Here is how I fly my V911 with Futaba transmitter.

I use "proxy" receiver with PPM out to send signal to FlySky's RF module.

The Idea is very old, but still, here is an easy way to use Futaba*:

You will need FlySky (or Clone) RF module (~$20 on eBay)
And a simple cable to connect PPM out, battery and RF module.

(*) This will work not only with Futaba, but with any Tx, if you have an Rs with PPM out or a separate channel encoder.

Fly your V911 with Futaba (or Other) transmitter (0 min 40 sec)

Bixler 2nd flight. Couple of inverted passes just before the end. (5 min 18 sec)

Couple of inverted passes at 4:35 just for fun.

It was relatively calm day today, so I could not wait and flew my bixler.

Temp outside was -3C, and I was getting about 20 mins flight out of 1.3Ah battery.
Had to add some extra weight at the nose to get CG right.
