Hey guys

I just bought a trex600 esp kit and I am looking into different options for it

First off I'm looking for servos that I can use for the swash and the tail that won't drain my wallet I don't do 3d flight but I'm into aggressive sport flight so I don't need topnotch but I need good quality

Also I'm looking into a FBL unit that has self leveling such as the ikon
Anybody have suggestions or recommendations

And last of all I was thinking about getting 2 3s 30c 4000mah packs and using them together because I have a b17 that uses 2 3s packs and I thought I could kill 2 birds with one stone Would doubling the packs work ok

I have a Dx8 so I'm looking into equipment that would be spectrum compatible

Any ideas would be appreciated !

I have been building side force gens. For my Parksone Extra 300 thought I'd put it on here for you guys to use enjoy

1. I took some tackle boxes ( plastic with the snap lids) popped the lids of and use those as the SFG I traced a cardboard form that I made and used that to create even traces on the boxes

2 I used the dividers that came with the boxes and using a torch I heated them to the point at which I could bend them into 90 degree angles then cooled them to keep those angles

3 took a wooden dowl rod and ground the sides down to form a nail like form this I used for structure

4 I drilled 2 holes in each SFG then used a marker to mark the points on the wing where the holes needed to lineup

5 using the marked points I drilled slow and carefully into the wing

6 I epoxied the angles on using the SFG as a Guide these have to be level and straight or the plane won't track right in the air !!

7 I then epoxied the SFG on to the wing using the dowl rod nails to hold it in place ( the wing was on its side in a vise that I padded )

8 Once dried I drilled 2 tiny holes on each angle piece ( the part that is connected to the SFG ) and threaded some wire through and tied it tight for added strength

I test flew it and it flys great.

I hope this helps someone that is looking to use SFGs

It's a DIY way to make them

She's not done yet I still need to paint it
I'm thinking white or silver would look good

I didn't take many pictures when I was building so if you have questions just ask

Hi all I have a problem about a month ago I purchased the nano cpx and so far I have put around 50 flights on it. it is a fun little heli and like every pilot I have had a few crashes nothing super bad the worst damage was the tail boom, easy fix

so not to drone on but I just ran into a problem with my main motor

when I throttle up, my main blades wont move until I turn it with my finger and then It throttles.. I have examined the body and parts and can find nothing that is wrong, everything is freely working, moving and nothing is bent

I tried putting it in low throttle ( just enough to get the shaft barely turning) and with the blades off I held the main shaft between my fingers and slowly rotated it
and what I felt was that the motor would kick in and then cut out a certain points
so I don't know what I need to do to fix this

also if you have Dx8 settings for the nano that are for easy flying please post them for me
