Just built this quad and it flys pretty good! I would go with the 4mm plate instead of the 3mm

Did a lot of work on bike today. Added tires, yellow shock spring, inverted muffler for cleaner air pressure to tank, remote glow ignitor, fuel filter and battery connection. Thanks to Dave at

Happy that it looks somewhat decent and straight. If I use a thinner battery pack, I could have lifted the back end more and not have to cut the bottom to get ground clearance.

Aug 11/2015 Update:

Totally trashed my first body, just finished cutting out the new one and it looks good. Without a battery installed, I was able to lift the back end and keep all the fairing.

What a complete joke. They make the frame beautiful but the canopy/rider is an afterthought....If you follow the cut lines, you wont have enough material for the body posts! My lower fairing is a bit on an angle because of this. I had to chop off a bit from the back to make it work and have some suspension travel in the rear. Looks like this will be my crash body and I'll order another set from Dave... No cut lines for muffler,you have to take material off slowly or else it looks terrible. And the steering damper hole does not line up well, I took too much off there...I'm a perfectioinist, I expected a lot more...Atleast the "next body" I know what lines not to follow
