  1. download the latest eepe from
  2. run eepe and config the programmer
  3. read EEPROM from transmitter
  4. double click general settings of EEPROM page
  5. check proper checkboxes in Custom LCD group (rotate/serial/SSD1306) and save EEPROM
  6. flash er9x-128-custom.hex
  7. write back modified EEPROM

I put a Turnigy 9XR board with custom er9x firmware to 1971 Pro-Line Competition Six 7CH transmitter.
Back in the 70's, it was one of the best radios in its days.
My goal of this project was to keep the original beauty of the ProLine as much as possible.
I saw many retrofitting works that virtually destroyed the original minimalist design - that's not my taste

Whenever I fly with this computerized ProLine, I feel like I'm back to the good old days and driving an antique Rolls-Royce
Sticks have very substantial feel - nothing like cheap-feeling of plastic gimbals.
However, OLED display has a poor daylight visibility and I'll replace it by a backlit LCD sooner or later.
One downside of this project was it required too much labor - I have to come up with the better way!!!
